Ticketing Officer 


Job Responsibilities

  • Must be able to run independently the IATA software of Galileo, Sabre, and Amadeus respectively.
  • Must be able to issue, reissue, refund and cancel of any tickets as per the IATA standards independently.
  • Must be Articulate and Quote the price of the ticket to the customer about the fares, rules, restrictions & instructions.
  • Must be able to collect payment from customers for tickets before the IATA payments dates.
  • Must maintain the relationship with all the previous customers, agencies, vendors, airlines and maintain communication with possible new customers.
  • The Travel consultant /sales agent role involves answering a variety of inbound calls from various corporate customers.
  • Proactively call customers to offer products to existing bookings where appropriate for additional revenue. Offer exceptional customer service, which exceeds all customers’ expectations, promoting collection opportunities.
  • Liaising with airlines, hotels, resort etc.
  • Collecting, evaluating and responding (as appropriate) to customer feedback.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum graduates from recognized university.
  • Completed Certificate/ Diploma on Specific Post.
  • Age 25 to 40 year(s).
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers over phone, face to face, email and other social media independently and fluent in English & Bengali.
  • Be self-motivated, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 3-4 years Practical Experience in respective departmental job or post in reputed company.
