SS Power I Ltd. a joint venture company (JVC) between S. Alam Group of Bangladesh and Chinese companies, SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Limited (SEPCOIII in short) and HTG Development Group Co., is one of the largest investments ever in the power sector of Bangladesh by any Private Company with the intent of providing sustainable and reliable power supply to the Country to attain self-sufficiency and meet its developmental needs. SS Power I Ltd is currently executing the 2 x 660 MW Coal fired Super Critical Thermal Power Plant at Banshkhali near Chittagong on a Build, Own and Operate Model. To meet its immediate needs, SS Power I Ltd is looking for professionals.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in staff recruitment & selection process through job advertisement, reviewing & screening applications, assisting interview process and finalize the process of appointments.
  • Assist to prepare/ develop / update Organogram for different departments / units.
  • Assist to prepare/ develop JD with appropriate KPI for different positions.
  • Maintain liaison with different departments on HR issues.
  • Expand the training and development programs based on both the organization’s and the individual`s needs.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Formulate & maintain HRIS system including attendance, leave, absence, etc.
  • Draft policies or procedures for effective logistics management and all Admin related activities of the company.
  • Supervision of security, housekeeping, health, safety and other compliance issues.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure coordination on relevant issues.
  • Maintenance of all ledgers and assets of the company.
  • Purchase of stationeries and all other administrative items.
  • Maintenance of all vehicles and related items.
  • Arrangement of all ceremonial events and functions.

Discipline:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration in HRM from a reputed University / Institution.

Experience & Specific Qualification:

  • 3-5 year(s) in experience in the relevant field.
  • Experience level may be relaxed for outstanding candidates.
  • Must have adequate knowledge on Bangladesh Labour Act.

Attributes: Should be conceptually strong, dynamic, self-driven and with a positive attitude. Good spoken communication and written (Typing: Bengali & English) skills is an essential job requirement.
