Position: Assistant Merchandiser - Production (Sweater Division)

Job Description/ Responsibility:

• Candidate must have sound knowledge on Sweater sourcing and negotiating orders with EU/ US Retail Chains/ buying houses independently.
• Strong knowledge on sweater costing, design & sample.
• Execute orders of world leading brands.
• Able to handle day-to-day merchandising operations in Sweater production.
• Liaison with buyers regarding all the issues from product development to shipment.
• Communicate with suppliers for: raw materials, booking and delivery.

Job Nature: Full-time

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate/ Masters from Textile University.
• MBA is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

• 3 to 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements:

• Age 22 to 30 year(s)
• Must have good academic result.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft words, Windows and Internet.
• Must have the capability to work in a Sweater Industry.

Job Location: Madhabdi, Narshingdi.

Salary Range: Negotiable
