Job Description/ Responsibility:

• A self-confident, strong management/leadership quality with positive attitude.
• Candidates must be able to understand product development, cost and production plan in order to monitor production pace for timely shipment.
• Vast knowledge of fabrics trims in regard of Quality and Sourcing.
• Monitor the production status and progress of orders according to the agreed time lines.
• Ensure that the customer`s requirement for quality and timely delivery are met at all times.
• Good team leader to handle a team.
• Solid experience in woven bottoms costing, sourcing and production tracking activities for reputed brand buyers.
• Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and ideas
• Technically sound in garment/ yarn construction, washing, cutting, sewing, trims & accessories, etc.
• Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handing very demanding customers
• Source new customers and build an effective customer network.
• Applicant must have excellent knowledge in garments (Knit/ Woven) with capacity to negotiate orders and handle to clients.
• Analyze international market trends.
• Follow up with Team Leaders about production details as per order & to ensure timely shipment.
• Follow up orders with customers, factory and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
• Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure on time shipment and 100% quality approval.
• Work with fabric and accessory suppliers to ensure orders are done as per specifications.
• Monitoring of overall activities of suppliers, commercial, shipping, quality checking of goods, etc., to ensure smooth production and shipment.
• Candidates having minimum 12 years of hands on experience in managing Merchandising & Marketing activities of export oriented knit Garment products in reputed factories are only encouraged to apply.
• The candidate should have sound knowledge on knit products & its costing and should be capable to follow up orders from order taking to shipment.
• The candidate should have the capacity to source new buyers & maintain effective liaison with existing / new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders & meeting export target.
• Should be hard working and have excellent negotiation skills.
• Should be fluent in English correspondences both in writing & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.

Job Location: Madhobdi, Narshingdi.

Salary Range: Negotiable
