INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER (CCCM)


SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is an international humanitarian organization based in Paris, France, which provides aid and assistance to victims of war and natural disasters. For the past 35 years, the organization’s vocation has been to meet the three vital needs - drinking, eating and sheltering – of vulnerable populations around the world. Our programs mainly focus on emergency relief actions related to water and sanitation but also related to food security as well as shelter and infrastructure rehabilitation and reconstruction.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER (CCCM)
Affectation: Teknaf, Bangladesh
Possible Start of the activities: July 20, 2018
Number of positions: 02
Duration of the contract: up to October 31, 2018 (with possibility of extension), Based on the implementation of new ISR, duration and terms of conditions of the position may change.

Responsibilities and description of tasks:

The CCCM Information Management Officer assists the program team in the entry, processing and back-up of information and data collected in the field.

His/ her main responsibilities in below:

  • Enter data collected by the teams in the field in the CCCM database
  • Maintain updated location maps for Solidarités International activities in Site Management
  • Maintain updated service mapping in Solidarités International working area
  • Enter data provided into the appropriate software
  • Support the team in the processing of information and data gathered
  • File and back up information and data
  • Produce and provide the data and information requested by the program teams
  • Ensure the proper physical archiving of all documents related to program implementation

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience in humanitarian and/or development programs and in the relevant field.
  • Experience in data entry and management and data analysis
  • Must have ability to work on MS office with strong knowledge of excel
  • Experience in mapping on GIS preferred
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Ability to multi task,
  • Capacity in local language/Rohinga language will be preferred
  • Strong humanitarian commitment and organizational skill.

Salary Range: Monthly consolidated salary BDT 38,300/- and other benefits as per HR policy of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL.
