Position: Business Analyst

This position is created to cater to the changing needs in the development industry in general and construction and consulting industries in particular. SMEC has adopted a vision to be a leader in providing relevant services to the business enterprises in order to turn business ideas to sustainable, viable and responsible business cases.

Responsibilities:

• Carryout financial and economic feasibility studies of business cases, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external clients
• Understanding business processes, analyzing patterns and cases, forecasting future growth based on current data
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Working with other professionals in the organizations to prepare proposals, meetings clients and partners, managing projects and preparing reports
• Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Requirements:

• An independent, target-driven mind
• A master’s degree in business administration (additionally, a bachelor’s degree in engineering will be preferable)
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field
• Analytical and conceptual thinking and advanced technical skills
• Experience in Construction and Consultancy industry will be added advantage
• Documentation and communication skills
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Demonstrated leadership, managerial, planning and organizational skills
