POSITION TITLE: Laboratory Technology Officer, SMC Nil-tara Clinic

Responsibilities:

Laboratory Technology Officer is responsible for performing all sorts of laboratory tests of the clinic. S/he will be overall responsible for laboratory management with strict adherence to standard operating procedure (SOP). The person will ensure laboratory safety while taking all required precautions to prevent spread of infection at the testing site. S/he will be responsible for laboratory quality system approach for internal quality assurance/control in laboratory and testing process and support external quality control for testing. S/he is required to establish and maintain cooperation and specific relationships with other colleagues and be willing to work in a team. S/he will be responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality of the client’s information and test result and be supportive, empathic and respectful to the clients.

Qualification & Experience:

• 3 years Diploma in Laboratory Medicine from any GOB recognized Institution
• Minimum 2 years working experience in similar position with any NGO Clinics, Health Programs or Hospitals.
