SLOPB Bangladesh is an international NGO working in the coastal belt of Bangladesh since 1995 with greater passion and enthusiasm for sustainable development of the community living in the coastal area of Bangladesh. Currently SLOPB invites applications from qualified and experienced  doctors for the following vacant position.

Position: Medical Officer, Ingrid Memorial Hospital

This position is based in Kalisuri Bandor, Bauphal Upazila, Patuakhali, with residential facilities.

Major responsibility:

• Provide quality primary health care services to the general people
• Manage indoor and outdoor patients
• Ensure A/N care and growth monitoring events in effective manner
• Plan and organize child and maternity care activities for providing best care to the patients/clients
• Maintain effective coordination and communication with all staff working in IMH
• Attend the emergency calls as residential medical officer
• Coordinate the project activities for cervical cancer prevention
• Collect ,compile and analysis data and prepare monthly report for timely submission

Requirements:

• MBBS degree with PGT  in child health from any recognized medical college and hospital
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as medical officer in any hospital or mother and child health care
• Experience in  ultra sonogram
• Good interpersonal communication skills

 Salary range: Tk.40,000/- with other admissible benefits.
