Position: Senior/Junior Design Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities:

• Should have independently handled Electrical design of Commercial / Residential high rises, Condominiums, Townships, IT Parks, Biotech Parks , hospital & Infrastructure Projects etc.
• Should have experience in design of Electrical Systems from Lighting, low voltage systems, Substations up to 110KV.
• Should have experience in preparing Design Concept reports of respective systems, Specifications and BOQ's
• Design includes selection of relays, MV/ LV switchgear, PCC/MCCs. Design of DG protection panels, cables and review of drawings
• Lead a team of Designers, coordinating (with other disciplines like mechanical, civil, etc.), reviewing and monitoring the activities to complete project design with targeted schedule.
• Should have lead a team of Engineers and CAD designers in a design office
• Should be able to independently discuss with Client's on all aspects
• knowledge on relevant international and national standards, codes and acceptable industry practice
• Review all Electrical designs under his care
• Ensures the Electrical designs are complaint to Codes and relevant authorities requirements
• Knowledge in developing basic design, detail design, shop/ working drawings for Electrical systems
• Should be capable of taking on the decisions and giving a quick solution to a problem at site carry out the construction in conformity with drawings.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from any recognized institute
• Should have broad knowledge of Electrical Engineering systems for Building and Infrastructure works.
• Basics Computer Knowledge
• Knowledge on Dialux /IES preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit Preferred
• Good Communication skills
• Should have 5 - 10 years of consultancy design experience within the Middle East / UAE , preferably in the consulting industry for senior position
