SIMURA is an export-oriented company. This company requires some energetic and hardworking career aspirants for the position “Assistant Merchandiser” for their buying house unit:

Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day to day communication with foreign Buyers.
• Monitor and apply various merchandising methods to ensure on time shipment.
• Clear idea about textile and garments Costing, Consumption etc.
• Sample and production follow-up.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Analyze sales trends and adjust Product Offering accordingly.
• Inventory control at outsourced factory.
• Coordinate with the QC team to ensure quality materials from sourcing to shipment.
• Conduct pre finals and packaging audits to ensure 100% final inspections pass rate.
• Training and update stakeholders about the product knowledge.
• Ensuring sales & sourcing plan, achievement related report on time.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years experiences in the field of buying house
• MBA in Merchandising / B.Sc in Textile Engineering / MBA (Reputed University)
• Only males are allowed to apply
• Candidates having experience in knit, woven & sweater are highly encouraged to apply
• Well versed in materials sourcing from local and foreign markets
• E-mail & computer proficiency
• Ability to work under pressure
• Clear knowledge about AQL standards
• Must have knowledge of sample development, approve sample, swatch matching and finishing quality
• Fluent in English
• Age: Minimum 28 years
