Position Name: Project Manager

Division / Business Unit : Energy Management Medium Voltage &Systems (EM MS)

Major Responsibilities:

• The person will be responsible for the overall Business cycle for Medium Voltage Solutions in Bangladesh.
• Regular monitoring of the projects under execution to ensure timely execution and appropriate cost monitoring.
• Create customer connect to discuss key topics during entire project cycle from bid phase to project completion.
• Discuss and execute claim management strategy for relevant project.
• Coordinate with all internal customers to achieve targets.
• Develop plan for competency enhancement in area of project management for team at Siemens Bangladesh Limited
• Responsible for all financial targets aligned with business unit.
• Coordinates overall planning  of projects and decides on allocation of resources.
• Maintains constant communication with customers, outside contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensures that quality standards for project management processes are met at all times.

Required Academic Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors degree from a reputed University. Engineering Degree preferred with a Master’s in Management.
• Professional training  on project management.
• Experience on implementing multiple substation sites would be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously

Required Experience

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in project management

Required Competencies

• Excellent communication skills and people handling skill.
• Excellent problem solving abilities.
• Good team player with amiable personality.
• Strong ability to cope with changing environment.
• Strong command on verbal and written communication.
• Know how on electrical substation equipments.
• Understanding  the design, drawing, documentations, site test requirement , arrangement of testing & commissioning etc of sub-stations.
• Knowledge on environment ,health & safety requirement in project sites & implementation.
• Ensures compliance  in regards to procedures and requirements concerning project management.
• Strong expertise in vendor and subcontractor management.
