Position: Site Engineer Electrical
The main purpose of this post is to assist in the estimating, supervising all electromechanical works and supervise all kinds of installation, maintenance and renovation works related to electrical engineering, generator, sub-station, Elevators, split/window AC, Office Equipment, PA system, Cable TV, Online UPS, Emergency Lighting and signage, CCTV, Fire Alarm Detection System, Water pumps & Motors, Water level controlling system, External/landscape lighting, Building Management system, Network Cabling, IP based Telephone system etc.
- Coordinate and supervise the assigned engineering works
- Supervise the quality, standards and specifications to ensure proper installation works
- Interact daily with the Project team/Electrical Engineer to interpret the needs and requirements and represent owners in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Manage, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale electrical works in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
- Assess potential risks, materials and costs
- Monitor and accelerate the progress and compile reports in project status
- Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety security of project site etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Under the direct supervision of Electrical Engineer she/he will perform and supervise all kinds of electrical works, including installation, maintenance, repair, renovation, and modification of electrical equipment for smooth completion of the project.
- Assists in the preparation of, detailed drawings and estimates of all electrical works.
- Undertakes quality control and checking of all electrical works to ensure the highest standard of workmanship.
In order to perform this role the post requires the following skills:
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
- Education: B Sc. or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 03 years working experience as B.Sc Engineer or 7 Years working experience as Diploma Engineer in the related field in multinational organization/Hotel/Hospital projects.
- Should have good knowledge of computer aided design (Auto CAD), as well as computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Should have very good knowledge on electrical and refrigeration system. Should be conversant about critical design/layout drawing of electrical works.
- Very good written and spoken Bengali and English. Understanding of Japanese language will be an added advantage.
SKILLS AND EFFORT:
- Expected to have good knowledge of computer-aided design (Auto CAD).
- Must be able to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings (Electrical and Mechanical), including electrical equipment.
- Very good knowledge on installation, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing of electrical equipment and systems specially.
- Able to undertake work related to low tension and high tension lines.
- Very good computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to work with thoroughness and accuracy.
- Very good time management and organizing skills.

- Able to work in stressed environment and if necessary, absorb extra work load under any situation.
- Able to provide prompt solution to problem relating to electrical equipment and systems.
- Able to supervise different emergency works beyond office hours, on holidays and also in off days.
