Position Title : Auditor - Internal Control & Compliance Division

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct periodic audit of branches &/or Head Office Divisions/Departments on their affairs;
  • Conduct surprise and special inspection of branches/Head Office Divisions/Departments;
  • Responsible to review transactions, documents, records & reports during audit assignments;
  • Prepare audit reports highlighting significant findings/observations;
  • Report audit findings and make appropriate recommendations for the correction/prevention of unsatisfactory conditions and improvement in operations;
  • Conduct and/or assist seniors in carrying out fraud investigations;
  • Conduct follow up audits to ensure compliance of audit recommendations;
  • Perform special assignments and other related duties as assigned by Head of Audit;
  • Ensure audit findings are duly complied by branches/Head Office Divisions;
  • Constantly monitor branches/Head Office on their audit findings/observations;
  • Review the audit compliance reports received from Branches/Head Office divisions timely and furnish/ incorporate comments of ICCD and prepare a summary of non-compliance issues and correspondence with concerned branches/ Head Office Division for necessary compliance thereof as well as the management;
  • Prepare the compliance report of regulatory bodies timely;
  • Ability to identify the key risk areas of banking operations and conduct audit to that effect, prepare management report for necessary compliance thereafter;
  • Ability to imagine beyond day to day operating proceedings to identify potential risks of fraud & forgery in banking operations;
  • Thorough knowledge on different areas of branch banking, GB, Investment, Foreign Trade etc;
  • Updated knowledge of various rules & regulations such as Companies Act, Bank Companies Act, Labour Laws etc. along with orders/circulars of different regulatory bodies like Bangladesh Bank, NBR, BSEC, RJSC etc.;
  • Post Graduate from a reputed University having no third class/division in academic career;
  • CA Intermediate level/Knowledge level qualified will get preference;
  • Minimum 5(five) years and above experience in any reputed private commercial bank with at least 3 years’ experience in the area of Audit & Inspection or 3 years’ experience in a reputed Audit Firm having exposure in Bank audit;
  • Smart appearance with pleasant personality;
  • Age within 40 years as on 31.10.2018.
