Position: Country Sales/Customer Relation Manager,
with textile chemistry background and supply experience

The position is highly interactive and customer focused. Your primary objective will be the further implementation of the bluesign system in Bangladesh. The tasks include recruitment of new customers, servicing existing customers and establishing a local sale and servicing organization with the support of the bluesign team. The successful candidate is target orientated, motivated to help customers to reduce environmental impacts and able to meet organizational obligations. Further activities include: support at trade shows, organizing local events, workshops, customer trainings, giving presentations as well as participating in local trade associations.
This job is challenging, exciting and demands a high degree of independence.

ideal profile

  • Technical degree with education in textile chemistry
  • 10+ years of professional technical experience in the textile industry (dyeing, finishing, printing, coating) and/or in the Environment, Health & Safety field.
  • Solid network with Bangladesh textile mills, chemical suppliers and brand sourcing offices in Bangladesh
  • Knowledge brand supply chain/brand sourcing procedures
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain issues
  • Good English skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple clients
  • Travel experience (worldwide and regional)
  • Intercultural experience
