Principal
The role of Principal carries the following job scope and responsibilities;
Implementation of the Strategic Plan
- Achieve the targets and KPIs determined in the PP.
- Ensure that the systems structure and staff are in place for the SEEP-TVET to achieve their plans to operate within the mission vision and values of the organization
- Lead the members of SEEP-TVET team to ensure the strategic objectives and plans for TVET are realized
- Drive forward excellence with members of the SEEP-TVET team to ensure the highest standards and highest expectations are achieved
- Coach, lead and develop and direct the members of the team
- Ensure that TVET delivers exceptional teaching to the trainees
Networking & lobbying
- To influence formulation of policies for developments of SEEP-TVET
- To represent SEEP-TVET in TVET Network, Donor and Ministry of Labor and Employment and other government entities as required from time to time
- To engage and develop productive relationships with employers.
- To have a positive public relations profile to enhance SEEP-TVET and its brand
Implementation of Strategic Plans
- Work within SEEP policies and procedures and comply with our statutory and legal requirements.
- Ensure equal opportunities and high ethical standards are promoted across the Institute.
- Comply with SEEP financial regulations and requirements and all other policies of SEEP.
- Act in accordance with approved SEEP-TVET curriculum and strategy
- Ensure development of high quality provision which is innovative, entrepreneurial and meets student’s needs and requirements and which delivers an exceptional employers demand which exceeds expectations.
- Ensure all staff are all clear on their roles, responsibilities and expectations and trained to the highest possible standards
- Design, develop and deliver a highly effective student focused curriculum and learner service so trainees are engaged fully in the learning process
- Seek and receive positive feedback from trainees, staff, employers, local communities and government entities
- Develop effective learning components which provide all trainees with effective employability skills and behaviours.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing an office with staff and budgetary responsibility
- Proven track record of successfully developing strategies which deliver efficiently the aims and objectives of the organisation
- Experience of successfully developing and implementing a vision, strategy, and business plans for a complex organisation
- A successful record in mid level leadership
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to innovate and inspire others and work effectively and inclusively through teams
- Successful track record of managing change, using excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to drive through organisational development and change
- Experience of developing creative solutions, introducing new and effective models of teaching and learning in a time of change
- Experience in financial planning and management
- Successful track record in driving forward quality improvement and achieving high standards
- Demonstrable commitment to equality and tackling discrimination
- A strong record of successful relations with the senior management of organisations
- A commitment to achieving and sustaining outstanding trainees success.
Job Nature: Full-time
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc Engineering in EEE from a recognized university.
Experience Requirements: At least 3 years
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 year(s)
- Minimum 3 year(s) and more responsible experience in a related field such as TVET Project, project management, office management.
- Excellent command over English & Bangla.
- Computer proficiency in MS-Word & MS-Excel with English & Bangla typing is a must.
