Job Description / Responsibility:
- Coordinate with Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC), Finance and Accounts and other functional areas to ensure smooth supply of Raw Material, Machinery and Equipment, and Stationery items.
- Enlist new suppliers through following company's policy and guidelines.
- Evaluate the performance of existing suppliers to ensure quality procurement.
- Issue purchase order as per purchase policy.
- Ensure appropriate follow-up with the suppliers for timely supply of items.
- Ensure processing of payments against purchase according to company policy.
- Explore new sources for new items/ materials
- Explore new sources for existing items/ materials for cost effective procurement.
- Settle any dispute with supplier (if any) through mutual understanding and negotiation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance of procurement.
- Assist supervisor in his routine work time to time.
- Perform any other assigned job related with Commercial Department.
- Undertake any other duties which may be assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (Accounting preferred).
- B.Ba or M.Ba will be considered as added qualification.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Purchase/Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistic, Freight Forwarding/C&F
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textiles
Job Requirements
- Must be well conversant in English, able to communicate with foreign parties in English.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications is a must.
