About the Job:
As the newest addition to the Rosenberger Asia Pacific Systems Integration Department, the Technical Support
Engineer’s role is to provide local post-sales support and services to our customers in Bangladesh.
- This position requires an Engineer who can lead a team to work in different environment and communicate with end customer to understand and provide the necessary solution.
- Problem Solving Skills involving troubleshooting IBS/DAS systems/equipment.
- Good working knowledge of RF/Wireless communications standards
- Possess a strong background in engineering and versatility to work on projects that span across the
- Engineering telecommunications discipline
- Personable, team player, dependable
- This role is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and will require travel within Bangladesh and trips (once or twice annually) to international destinations.
Responsibilities include:
- Support for Trails, Demonstration or Maintenance Solution Identify the requirements based on solution plan
- Prepare project plan and development schedule with installation personnel
- Lead and manage third party suppliers or their teams.
- Provide support for Post-Sales/ Services: site audits, diagnostics, remote troubleshooting, module
- replacements/repair.
- Work within customer provided time schedule and deliver the project within SLA time.
- Manage spare parts
- Provide training to the local installation team.
- Communicate with Team and response on customer complain 24x7 (If required)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of product/project management and/or installation expertise with operators, vendors, or systems integrators.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal (English and Bengali)
- Knowledge of team management, including work scheduling
- Experience with Wireless Repeater Installation/Commissioning/Troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IBS design process, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work with team and communicate with supervisor with project information.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects of various complexities and locations
- Able to perform site IBS/Repeater site survey and make report if necessary. Coordinate installation and maintenance team to solve problems.
- Able to conduct passive-DAS testing and measurements using site-master and KPI testing with TEMS.
