Position: Sr. Officer, Business Development (Pharma)

Job Responsibilities

  • Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market
  • Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties
  • Proactively develops and improve products and services
  • Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues
  • Understands clients` needs
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually
  • Deciding on pricing with the consent of management;
  • Promoting and building awareness of existing and new products to the customers (through personal visit, visiting plants, personal contact, phone, fax, email etc.);
  • Collecting samples of demand, providing samples and technical assistance to customers, collecting trial results;
  • Handling all L/C (collecting, following up operations, contact banks for opening and amendment purposes), C&F, banking and custom related matters and preparing all sales related papers;
  • Handling all the shipment related matters (preparing the shipment/delivery request, advice, handing over the shipping documents, updating the shipment information etc.);
  • Performing all tender related activities (purchasing tender schedule, preparing tender, participating in tenders etc.);
  • Performing works related to registration of source validation and block list permission;
  • Recording and analyzing sales information (maintaining registers for indent issuance, sales contacts, shipment status, commissions etc) and preparing/approving/submitting sales reports and sales target;
  • Preparing and maintaining customers data bases, product and suppliers profiles;

Educational Requirements: B.Pharm/M.Pharm/ Masters in Chemistry from any reputed university with no third division/class

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Marketing, Trading/Wholesale/Indenting
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Indenting Firm
