Real Estate & Housing Association Of Bangladesh (REHAB) is responsible to provide market-driven skill training programs including job placement service in the construction sector under the support of Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) Ministry of Finance, Govt. of Bangladesh.

REHAB is now looking for filling up the following vacant positions for its Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under SEIP.

1. Chief Coordinator

Qualification & Experience:
Masters in any discipline or B.Sc. Engineering in any discipline with at least 10 years experience in higher level position to deal with skills development programs in the field of construction sector.

Job Responsibilities:
The Chief Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring overall effectiveness of skills training programs by planning, managing, coordinating and implementing the activities undertaken for skills training in different training institutions to achieve  the officially acknowledge training and job placement targets. The majors tasks of the Chief coordinator will include the following : i) Apprising project Standing Committee about the progress of training programs; ii) Ensuring  that key staff of implementation unit  are productive in terms of service delivery; iii) responsible for achieving  enrollment, training completion  and job placement  targets; iv)  Updating, developing and finalizing course curricula/standards and relevant learning materials and ensuring quality of training program, assessment and certification v) Responsible for expenditure with due diligence vi) keeping liaise with SDCMU for timely receiving of the grants vii) facilitation of external auditing, physical verifications  and  submission of  periodical report on financial,  training and placements.

2. Coordinator (Finance & Procurement)

Qualification & Experience:
Masters in Accountancy/MBA in Finance with minimum five years working experience or Bachelor degree with seven years working experience in managing finance and accounts.

Job Responsibilities:
The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring effective accounting and financial management system in agreement with the Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring Unit (SDCMU). He/She will (i) maintain documentation in agreed formats, (ii) prepare documents for internal and external auditing, (iii) closely monitor all payments and expenditures, (iv) prepare and submit annual work plan and budget, and (v) manage and coordinate all procurement and contractual aspects of project-related goods, equipment in accordance with government procurement guidelines, and (vi) timely implementation of all financial and procurement activities as planned. He/She will also participate in regular meetings organized by the SDCMU related to financial management & procurement and perform any other task required by the Chief Coordinator or the management.

3. Coordinator (Monitoring & Evaluation)

Qualification & Experience:
Masters in any discipline or BSc Engineering in any discipline with five years working experience in monitoring and evaluation.

Job Responsibilities:
The coordinator will develop monitoring tools for effecting monitoring of training activities during implementation of the program. She/he will closely monitor the training programs from selecting trainees, enrollment, certification and job placement and retention up to 6 months. A performance monitoring plan and reporting formats for related activities will be prepared jointly with the Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring Unit (SDCMU). She/he will prepare monitor all activities closely and submit monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports to the SDCMU. She/he will also participate actively in monitoring meetings organized by SDCMU. She/he will also perform other related tasks as may be required by the chief coordinator or requested by the implementing agency.

4. Coordinator (Job Placement & Data Base) 

Qualification & Experience:
Masters in any discipline with five years relevant experience or experience in marketing or Bachelor degree with seven years working experience.

Job description:
The coordinator will plan and coordinate job placement support service to ensure at least 60% job placement of trainees enrolling and retention in jobs for at least six months. He/She will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the database and assist tracking of the successful trainees based on data entered into TMS. He/She will (i) maintain and closely monitor the data on job placement including wages/remuneration and other related information; (ii) update information on any changes in wages/remuneration of those getting jobs; (iii) closely monitor the effectiveness of job placement officers in enhancing job placements including developing network with employers; and (v) perform any other task required by the chief coordinator or the management.

5. Asstt. Coordinator (Finance & Procurement)

Qualification & Experience: Masters/MBA in Accounting/Finance with minimum three years working experience or Bachelor degree with five years working experience in managing finance and accounts.

Job Requirements: Adequate knowledge on expenditure analysis, budget preparation and budgetary control/conduct internal audit of different training providers supported by REHAB-SEIP project.

6. Asstt. Coordinator (Monitoring & Evolution)

Qualification & Experience: Master in any discipline with three years working experience in monitoring and evaluation or Bachelor degree with five years working experience.

Job Requirements: Ability to monitor the training program from selecting eligible trainees, enrolment, training, assessment, certification & job placement & retention up to 3 months. Monitor quality aspect of the training courses as per course curriculum & assessment guide including reporting.

7. Asstt. Coordinator (Job Placement & Data Base)

Qualification & Experience : Master in any discipline with three years working experience in marketing or Bachelor degree with five years working experience

Job Requirements: Ability to conduct close monitoring of the job placement data for wage and self- employment and preparing data on employment related information. Develop dynamic linkage & net – working with potential employers in industrial sector.

8. Officer (Database)

Qualification & Experience: Graduate/Master degree from any University. Minimum 3 years experience in administrative and secretarial works.

Job Requirements: Have to knowledge and skill in software and hardware, preparing data base software in the field of IT related works. Ability to monitor data base information and provides feedback.

9. Officer (Admin & logistic)

Qualification & Experience: Graduate/Master degree from any University. Minimum 3 years experience in administrative and secretarial works.

Job Requirements: Maintain files and records and documents and provide all sorts of secretarial support service for organizing meeting/conference. Maintain liaison with different organizations related to construction industry.

10. Instructor (Electrical)

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any Institute. Minimum 3 years experience in the related field.

Job Requirements:

  1. Have to sufficient practical knowledge in the relevant trade.
  2. Have to co-operate job placement of trainees. 

11. Instructor (Plumbing)

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field.

Job Requirements:

  1. Have to sufficient practical knowledge in the relevant trade.
  2. Have to co-operate job placement of trainees.

12. Instructor (Masonry)

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field.

Job Requirements:

  1. Have to sufficient practical knowledge in the relevant trade.
  2. Have to co-operate job placement of trainees.

13. Instructor (Rod Binding)

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field.

Job Requirements:

  1. Have to sufficient practical knowledge in the relevant trade.
  2. Have to co-operate job placement of trainees.

14. Instructor (Tiles & Marble works)

Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute. Minimum 3 years experience in the related field.

Job Requirements:

  1. Have to sufficient practical knowledge in the relevant trade.
  2. Have to co-operate job placement of trainees.

15. Office Attendants (2)

Qualification & Experience:
Applicant must be class VIII passed from any School. Minimum 3 years experience in the related field.
