• Initiate and design all research projects of the company, like - content, readership, product evaluation and development, brand and communication assessment, media research etc.
• Drive and shape the MIS backbone of the company keeping liaising between various business departments with IT and ERP teams in accordance to company objective
• Plan and initiate feasibility studies for new product, ideas and business projects
• Analyze competition and market trends and disseminate findings through insight reports and presentation to important stakeholders
• Cut through the clutter and discover as well as pursue the things that would deliver the most value to the company and its products
• Drive research findings towards implementation through marketing, advertisement, circulation and content teams
• Manage research agencies and research budget
• Manage and guide junior team members in their day to day activities

Candidate Profile:

• Masters or graduate from reputed university, preferably in business disciplines
• 5 years of pertinent experience in the field of research, MIS and database management preferably in renowned research firm or FMCG company
• Sound knowledge from problem identification to research design and implementation
• Experience of managing and leading a dynamic team
• Outstanding report writing and presentation skills
• Must be proficient in MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel, and other database software
• Excellent proficiency in Bengali and English communication in verbal and written form
• Commendable analytical skills and result oriented attitude
