Position Announcement for Head of Finance, Admin and HR
We are looking for a Head of Finance, Admin and HR for an International NGO working in the education sector for young children. For more than 50 years, this INGO is leading global market through educating and entertaining children using multiple media.

Key Job Responsibility

The primary functions of this position include to ensure a compliant financial management with effective recording, reporting & control systems for operations of finance and administration with a key role in managing the HR systems and process.

Professional Skills and Competencies

  • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh with qualification of Chartered Accountant. Or University graduate, preferably with master’s degree in Business Administration and Finance.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in non-profit industry or in medium scale business entity from service industry
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience of directly working on USAID grants.
  • Experience of working in not for profit sectors with deep knowledge of NGOAB provisions, NBR regulations & other applicable regulations like Anti Money laundering Act, Anti-Terrorism Act etc.
  • Advanced skills on budgeting, recording & reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting and financial management processes
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, financial troubleshooting and audit experience

  • A quick learner – able to learn new systems, processes and procedures and adapt local practices to global standards
  • A team worker - ability to work on teams, to work at detailed level, to facilitate result keeping a productive team ambience
  • A great communicator - strong oral and written communication skills in Bangla and English, abilities to represent the company with a strong presence
  • An Excel master - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word and good skills at using financial software applications i.e. tally
    • A deadliner - Ability to plan, implement and complete tasks independently meeting the deadlines.
