Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain books of Accounts
  • Prepare & Maintain Cash Book, Bank Book
  • Prepare Trial Balance, Receipt & Payment Account, Income & Expenditure A/C Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement
  • Fund Management
  • Preparing daily Vouchers and posting in accounting system
  • Dealing with Bank transaction and Bank reconciliation
  • Responsible for maintaining records of daily financial transactions
  • Preparing Financial Management report (FMR) After 3 & 6 months to UGC and Project
  • Management Information System (PMIS),other related documents as per requirements of QAU,HEQEP, UGC.
  • Maintain petty cash
  • Disburse salary, bonus, incentives and prepare unpaid statement
  • Process Merchant's and Vendor's Payments and invoices on time
  • Managing IQAC financial accounting, monitoring and reporting within deadline
  • Ensure that all relevant VAT & Taxes are paid on time
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
  • Developing and maintain external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers.
  • Responsible for maintaining records for office & finance expenditure
  • Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of  service provided
  • Other Accounts Related Regular Activities Petty cash maintain & head wise posting
  • Collection of data associated with generating reports for accounts purpose where applicable
  • Maintain filing and documentation
  • To recommend, develop and maintain financial database, computer software and manual filling systems
  • Responsible for maintaining records for daily financial transaction and preparing of accounting statements

 Job Specifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Master of Commerce in Accountancy/CA course completed and/or equivalent professional qualifications from a recognized University/Institution
  • Candidates holding Minimum 2nd Class Masters’ degree in Accounting from any recognized University
  • Applicants from Bengali Medium must exhibit proof of strong English Language capacity both in communication and writing.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 03 years relevant work experience
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Cash Management.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office is essential

Salary Range: Negotiable
