Research Officer/ Senior Research Officer

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Supervise qualitative and quantitative data collection
  • Data entry, editing and transcript preparation
  • Assist the research team to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Assist the program team with planning and conducting projects
  • Assist in data management and analysis
  • Conduct literature review
  • Prepare draft report/field report
  • About 40 percent field level activities
  • Any other job assigned by the Supervisor

Job Nature: Contractual

Educational & Other Requirements:

  • Masters in social sciences or any relevant discipline from a recognized university or foreign institute
  • Higher or multiple academic degrees in relevant disciplines may get preference
  • Specialized academic degree or training in quantitative and qualitative research methodology will be an added advantage

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in similar responsibilities

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Experience in working at international NGOs will be an added advantage
  • Experience may be relaxed for extra-ordinary young candidate
  • Multi-tasking working attitude, team-player and creative thinker

Salary Range:

  • Depending on qualification and experience attractive packages will be offered
