Senior Research Officer / Qualitative Data Analyst

Job Description/Responsibility

  • Strategic planning and program management. Assist in managing the project under guidance of the supervisor. Actively contribute in strategic planning of program activities and monitoring and evaluation. Assist in preparing annual workplan and track implementation progress. 
  • Resign design and data analysis. Assist in designing research tools, data analysis and report writing. Develop qualitative data collection tools. Train data collectors. Monitor data collection. Translate transcripts and analyze qualitative data.
  • Field implementation. Organize meetings and workshops.
  • Coordination and networking. Maintain liaison with program-level stakeholders.
  • Monitoring. Assist in developing monitoring tools. Maintain and update web-based project monitoring database. Undertake routine monitoring visits to the field.
  • Documentation and report writing. Assist in preparing progress reports as well as other reports for donors. Prepare presentations for professional meetings. Contribute in writing technical reports under supervision of senior staff.
  • Any other job assigned by the supervisor

Job Nature: Contractual

Educational & Other Requirements:

  • Master's degree in statistics, social sciences, public health or related discipline from recognized university
  • Expertise in qualitative data analysis
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to project areas frequently
  • Able to work in a team and with other stakeholders

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing projects/ research on life skills education and adolescent reproductive health/ child marriage  

Salary Range: Depending on qualification and experience attractive packages will be offered
