Qualifications we seek:

• University degree in Accounting /BBA (Major in Accounting)
• Minimum of 2-3 years accounting and project controls experience in medium sized company
• Knowledge of A/P, A/R, G/L, Payroll, Government reporting and taxes
• Experienced in use of computers and Microsoft Office products
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Bengali
• A Team player with a service minded attitude
• Able to work closely with our clients
• The ability to work under pressure
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• The work locations are flexible, part of the work will be executed from Dhaka and the main part from our project locations in the Sylhet area
• Reports to Dhaka Accounts manager and Construction Managers at site

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure Company compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of the country
• Liaise with Financial controller and project controller in Thailand and ED in Thailand on accounting issues and company compliance
• Oversees the project locations work methods and assures the work methods meets our ethical standards
• Assist  A/P, A/R, G/L, Payroll , Project expenditure administration and procurement related items
• Work closely with our in country advisors as required
