Monitoring & Evaluation System Specialist

They are at risk of being denied the opportunity to access a secondary education, to gain the skills and training they need to work and to exercise control over their sexual and reproductive health. They are at risk of being married before the age of 18. They are at risk of violence and harassment from men and boys in every space they occupy, including their home, their school, their refugee camp and their city.

Strengthening Monitoring Evaluation and Research and Knowledge Management (MER & KM) function is one of the significant current initiatives across Plan International to help to transform the lives of 100 million girls so that they can learn, lead, decide and thrive throughout the world. MER function supports to enhance programme quality and improve programme outcomes to bring sustainable changes in the lives of children and adolescents, especially girls.

The role
As Monitoring and Evaluation System Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and leading on-line MIS for the country strategies, providing support to Plan and partner organization for smooth operation of global ERP and M&E systems and enhance utilisation of various digital platforms for data collection and data analysis. One of the major responsibilities of this position holder is to capacitate the country management team, programme team, M&E staff in Plan and partner organization to be skilled in real-time programme monitoring and operating global ERP and M&E system. As M&E System Specialist, you will support to roll out global ERP and M&E system throughout the organisation. Also, you will be responsible to ensure data quality for reporting to Global Hub (GH), National Offices and different donors.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a passionate team member with positive team spirit who has - skill and experience in designing, developing and upgrading the real time M&E system; proactive in providing prompt support for troubleshooting for smooth operation of the M&E and integrated system; has expertise in building staff capacity in digital M&E and real time monitoring; possess good knowledge in data quality assurance and reporting. A Post Graduate degree holder with four to five years’ experience in the similar role in national or international development organizations.
