Digital Media Coordinator

All over the world girls are at risk because of their young age and their gender. They are at risk of being married before the age of 18. They are at risk of violence and harassment from men and boys in every space they occupy, including their home, their school, their refugee camp and their city. They are at risk of being denied the opportunity to access a secondary education, to gain the skills and training they need to work and to exercise control over their sexual and reproductive health.

The role

The Digital Media Coordinator will be accountable for maximising engagement of social media and digital platforms to support Plan International Bangladesh to promote its work on children especially girls’ rights and engage young people and other stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

A passionate and creative person willing to champion girls' rights through social media and other digital platforms. The applicants are expected to possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in digital media. He/she will have experience with and knowledge about multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Tumblr, YouTube) and corresponding analytics. The post holder will have proficiency with smartphone photography, videography and social media apps and be able to work strategically and collaboratively across teams. Master degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Web Design, Public Relations or any other related field will be an asset.
