Plan International seeks to ensure the rights of children to education, health, safe water and sanitation, protection, youth social and economic empowerment and climate change, environmental degradation and natural or man-made disaster hazards throughout the country.

Responsibilities of the position:

The Manager-Research & Knowledge Management will be responsible for leading the research and evaluation activities of the organisations in consultation with Head -MER&KM and facilitating the knowledge management in the organisation. The position is crucial to contribute in enhancing programme quality and effectiveness. This position will also be responsible for contributing in designing programmes to realise child rights and policy advocacy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least Postgraduate degree, preferably in Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Development Studies and Statistics, or any other relevant field;
• At least 7 years’ experience to work in research and evaluation at research organisations or international development organizations.
• Ability to conduct and manage research and evaluation independently.
• Number of publications as lead researcher is preferred. 
• Skill in using software of data analysis and MS Excel.
