Manager Research and Knowledge Management (RKM)

Based in Dhaka + Core position

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head-Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Knowledge Management, the Manager- Research & Knowledge Management (Manager – RKM), will lead all the research aspects of the organisations and undertake the knowledge management of the organisation. The position is of crucial importance to programme quality and effectiveness. Manager RKM will work as the focal point for all research as well as country focal point for implementing the Knowledge Management strategy and Standard. H/she will undertake operational research in the major areas of Health, Education, WASH, Child Protection, DRM & Climate Change and Youth Economic Empowerment; support regional and international research initiatives of Plan International; supporting the Annual Outcome Monitoring (AOM), Annual Participatory Programme Reviews (APPR) and developing reports; lead the integration and implementation of Knowledge Management in the organisation to promote shared learning and knowledge management; support the implementation of Programme Quality Policy and work with other to facilitate continual learning; represent Plan International Bangladesh in INGO knowledge network and Widen knowledge exchange through the platform

Requirements for this position:
                                                          
For this role, the candidate should have at least a Postgraduate degree preferably in economics, social sciences, development studies, or other relevant field; at least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in Research and Evaluation in international development organisation or research institutes or academic institutions; advanced degree in research will be preferred; must be Proficient in using MS Excel and SPSS. The position requires at least 30% travel to project locations
