Health Program Specialist

Based at Dhaka + Core Position

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Health Program, the Health Program Specialist will be responsible to design, develop and review strategies, concept notes and grant proposals as well as different communication materials, training manuals, guidelines related to both Child, maternal and adolescent health, nutrition and nutrition in emergency by analysing needs and contextualizing local culture in strengthening a demand responsive and community managed health care. The position will also be responsible to organize, facilitate and coordinate staff level trainings (TOT) on different thematic areas of Health. S/he will work in a team for developing implementation standard, monitoring and supervision mechanism, advocacy and networking initiatives of Health to achieve the objectives/indicators of Country Strategy Paper-III following CCCD approach.

Requirements for this position:
                                                          
For this role, the applicant should have a MPH with MBBS. At least 3-4 years working experiences in health projects in any reputed development organization with proven technical expertise in early childhood care, child health and health systems improvement and demonstrated ability to develop and implement program strategy. S/he is expected to have experience of working with government officials, partners and other stakeholders with good negotiation skill. Excellent communication skill both in English & Bangla and computer proficiency in MS Office.
