Salary & benefits Monthly consolidated BDT 55000-65000 including all other benefits and allowances.  Experienced and skill candidates would be offered with appropriate packages.

About the role

The Camp Coordination Officer will be responsible for collecting information, fact sheet development, documentation, progress report writing, programme summary development and track the progress of the activities against project deliverables under emergency safe sanitation, hygiene, waste management and DRR support for displaced Rohingya communities in selected locations of Cox’s Bazar.

Responsibilities:

  • S/he will monitor the activities of the project and track performances against the deliverables timeline
  • S/he will collect information through other project staff under different components and furnish periodical reports for the management and donor
  • S/he will work on fact sheet development and programme summary development
  • S/he will coordinate with local partner organizations and their staff to ensure access to accurate and reliable information from the field
  • S/he will assist the Project Coordinator and Senior management in preparing various reports and documents related to the project
  • S/he will undertake field visits to check accuracy of the information generated from the field
  • S/he will arrange and coordinate weekly or monthly coordination meetings including camp level WASH agencies meeting, GO-NGO coordination meeting, Camp in Charge (CIC) coordination meeting at CIC to update the project activities and situation at the camp

About you

  • A Master’s degree in any relevant discipline, preferably in Statistics
  • Proven working experience in project/programme monitoring, camp coordination, documentation, report writing for at least 03 years. Work experience in International development organizations and emergency response will be given preference.
  • Excellent communication, and writing skills both in Bangla and in English
  • Knowledge on organisational culture change management, diversity, inclusion, gender sensitivity
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships within the team
