About the role

Based in Ukhiya, the Admin and Logistics Officer will be responsible to provide administrative and finance support to the programme team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary point of administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and institutions on legal, logistics, procurement and security.
  • Organizes and ensures logistical support in facilitating meetings, conferences, and other special events; coordinates and attends committee meetings, and participates in committee discussions, as appropriate
  • Performs the responsibilities entailing in procurement, inventory management.
  • Arranges required logistical support relevant to the program events;
  • Ensures safety and security of the office premises and resources as needed
  • Takes overall responsibility of Ukhia Office logistical management and working closely with the Practical Action Country Dhaka office.
  • Stores and preserves all the valuable and necessary documents, logistics and records related to project accounting.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

About you

Essential experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Graduate in any discipline from reputed institutions preferably Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferably with INGOs.
  • Dynamic and creative, keen to learn, can collaborate with multiple groups and inspire others, takes responsibilities for on-time delivery
  • Well conversant in English
  • Interpersonal skill
  • Good writing skill
