About the role

Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and overall supervision of the Manager -PAC, the incumbent will assist with monitoring, data gathering and analysis, documentation, reporting, communication and evaluation of PAC's different projects in Bangladesh. The coordinator will ensure high quality and timely inputs following the strategic vision of the project and the activities result in achievement of its intended outputs. S/he will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the Project; assisting the Project Manager in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis. The role works in close collaboration with the project team, PAC-UK, government officials, private sector, non-government and civil society organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Regular monitoring of project activities, in coordination with the project teams, ensuring that monitoring and evaluation arrangements comply with agreed systems and donor agreements.
  • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Project Manager and provide feedback on project strategies, activities and progress.
  • Gather cases and deliver the service completion report as per donor requirement
  • Develop a comprehensive monitoring mechanism aligned with PAC-UK for all project activities throughout different stages of implementation to provide relevant information and strengthen evaluation procedure.
  • Develop project specific communication strategy and assist the programs staff develop communication plan according to project requirement.
  • Coordinate with communication agencies for quality materials development
  • Contribute to developing and delivering M&E/communication training and other capacity buildings tools for different projects as per requirements.
  • Develop and promote best practice examples and ensure documentation of experiences and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to regular sharing of M&E findings with PAC colleagues and relevant stakeholders and ensure that monitoring data is discussed in appropriate forums in a timely manner.
  • Maintain close collaboration with relevant stakeholders for the implementation of M&E efforts.
  • Perform other duties as required

About you

Essential experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Master degree in any discipline, preferably Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Studies, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS methods and approaches information/data collection, entry, analysis and report writing in development projects.
  • Substantial experience in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans, preferably with monitoring of field activities.
  • Proven ability to produce corporate communications materials.
  • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software.
  • Excellent facilitation, coordination, reporting and presentation skill.
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines.
  • Dynamic and creative, keen to learn, can collaborate with multiple groups and inspire others, takes responsibilities for on-time delivery.
  • Fluency in English and Bengali language.
