Practical Action Consulting Bangladesh Limited invites interested private enterprises (technical partners) willing to engage with research, development, and commercialisation of low cost sludge emptying, collection and transportation technologies/equipment under the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) supported project “Up scaling Faridpur city best practices and continued support in Faridpur City, Bangladesh”. The project will select and partner with one interested commercial manufacturing company/enterprise for research and development of desludging technologies and assessment of regulatory and business environments and subsequently formulation of a business plan by linking appropriately with key stakeholders for commercialisation. Low cost sludge emptying, collection, and transportation technologies for example, vaccutag, sludge transporter, gulper, small-scale sludge emptying devices will be designed and field tested for commercialisation. 

Interested private enterprises (technical partners) with excellent track records on research, development and marketing related with mechanical equipment are requested to submit their EOI along with their business plan for next three years for the above mentioned technologies, no later than 3:00 PM, June 10, 2018 at Practical Action office at House-28/A, Road-5, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205.
