Senior Partnership Officer


No. of Vacancy: 1 (One), Location: Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Job Type: Fixed Term, until March 31, 2019

Salary & Benefits: BDT. 1,056,451 gross per annum (13 months) plus 10% market supplement with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic person to support Partnership Manager for work together with stakeholders and partners across the Rohingya Response Program to support the successful implementation of the Partnership principle and workflow movement wide, capacity assessment and building support for partners. reinforcement of identify, engage and strengthen partnerships to achieve the outputs of Oxfam Rohingya Response operation in camps and also bring positive change of the most deprived and marginalized people living in host communities in Cox’s Bazar. S/he will work across any partnership types in line with the partnership principles and procedures.

The post holder reports to the Partnership Manager.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • At least 5 years working experience in development field, with at least 2 years’ experience in partnership based programming.
  • At least 2 years of experience on partnership, capacity building and monitoring & knowledge management
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Bangla
  • Excellent strategic vision, with strong ability to be innovative, creative and proactive to see different scenarios and contingencies required to improve partners’ capacity to deliver desired results and changes for marginalized people.
  • Excellent training/facilitation, negotiation, conflict handling, presentation, networking and communication skills.
  • Knowledge about core elements of approach to work in partnerships.
  • Experience with supporting organizational capacity strengthening processes
  • Extensive knowledge of and credibility with local and national NGO partners.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian assistance and long-term development work to communicate effectively with partners.
  • Proven knowledge and skill on the use of computer applications such as MS excel, word and power point
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and maintain positive attitude.

DESIRABLE:

Academic: Master Degree, preferably in any subject of Social Science (Development Studies or related field).

  • Evidence of professional excellence in related sectors (WASH, EFSVL, gender in emergency, protection);
  • Proven experience in working in refugee programmes;
  • Skill and experience with Monitoring and evaluation, database management
  • Experience of working with partnership management and capacity building.
