Web Portal (Web Site) maintenance for the ‘I am One, I am Many’ project

Oxfam in Bangladesh is going to hire a consultant (national) for “ Web Portal (Web Site) maintenance for the ‘I am One, I am Many’ project”. We are invitng for proposal from interested consultancy firm/ individual to undertake this assignment.

Background:

Gender Justice (GJ) Programme of Oxfam in Bangladesh is committed to encourage new initiatives promoting the concept of transformative women leadership and support creative discussions on women’s rights and gender equality. ‘I am One, I am Many’, is a multi-country project with Pakistan and Indonesia to enable youths, communities and institutions to take sensible actions to address/prevent violence, discrimination based on different identities, believes and religions. The current project is designed to address violence, acceptance of differences for promoting peace and pluralism. Through sensitization, learning-sharing and interaction this project encourages youth-girls and boys to feel confident to address religious fundamentalism issues and where these are being misused. The goal of the project is ‘People feel confident to address religious fundamentalisms and combat all forms of discrimination on the grounds of religion, religious identities other identities based on sex, ethnicity etc.’. This project aims to engage young people for positive social transformation in Bangladesh through promoting multiculturalism inter-faith harmony and combat discrimination against minorities in the community, society and state.

Objectives:

The object is to generate and upload related information, redesign and review the current website (www.iamoneiammay) in an effective and attractive way to make this site more interactive and live, youth friendly. The major focus of these website is to establish an online based learning-sharing knowledge hub to connect youths (Bangladesh, Indonesia and Pakistan) on the issue of diversity, pluralism and peace making process with an approach of inclusiveness and also to take stand against all kinds of discrimination.

Proposal submission Instruction:

The individual/firm must submit the following documents along with Technical & Financial Proposal (including VAT/TAX): The financial proposal should include 15% VAT ONLY. Oxfam will deduct 10% Income Tax at source from the agreed consultancy amount for national consultant and firms.

For Individual Consultant

  • Maximum 2 pages profile highlighting related assignment completed with client name, contract person and mobile number along with detailed CV;
  • TIN certificate and any other relevant document (if necessary).

For Consultancy Firm

  • Maximum 2 pages Firm profile highlighting related assignment completed with client name, contract person and mobile number;
  • Lead Consultant’s (who will lead the assignment) Maximum 2 pages CV highlighting related assignment completed, role in of the completed assignment;
  • Other Team members’ (who will involve in the assignment) one paragraph short CV highlighting related assignment completed and role;
  • Firm’s Certificate, TIN and VAT registration.

General Instruction for Individual Consultant/ Consultancy Firm:

  • Do not send any JPEG/Image format and please keep your all files name short/brief.
  • Please mention the assignment title “Proposal for Web Portal maintenance for the IOIM project”  only in the subject line during application via below mentioned email submit following two separate pdf files -

    i) Financial proposal
    ii) Technical proposal should include Cover page, Table of content, understand of the assignment (pls. don’t copy & paste), experience in handling similar assignments, a work-plan, methodology, Certificate, TIN and VAT registration to hrbd@oxfam.org.uk
