Senior Programme Officer – Capacity Building & Stakeholder Engagement


Posting: Dhaka with frequent travel to field
Job Type: Fixed Term, 01 Year (with possibility of extension)

Salary & Benefits: BDT. 1056451 (13 months) per annum gross with other benefits e.g. Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Life Insurance, Leave etc. as per Oxfam policy

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are urgently looking for a dynamic team player who will deliver to Empower Youth for Work project in line with ‘Oxfam One Program’ approach to contribute to ‘Oxfam in Bangladesh Program’ and integrate youth to all three themes of Oxfam in Bangladesh

S/he will be report to Project Coordinator -  Empower Youth for Work (EYW)

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:  

  • In-depth knowledge of specific areas of work with post graduate qualification in the related field of study
  • At least 5 years working experience on influencing/advocacy and capacity building programmes at national and international NGOs or relevant organizations
  • Experience on training module development, training delivery, influencing strategy development
  • Clear knowledge and understanding about the national and international process of women’s movement, protocols, instruments which preserving and protecting women rights and entitlements
  • Strong ability and proven track record on capacity need assessment and influencing
  • Strong communication ability to work with different stakeholders like Ministries, Private sector etc
  • Understanding of advocacy, campaigning and communications and how they contribute to achieving programme goals
