Salary & Benefits: BDT. 1,056,451 per annum (13 months) gross with other benefits as per Oxfam policy

We are urgently looking for a dynamic team player who will work with the Emergency Response team under Oxfam in Bangladesh.

To be responsible for IS support and related routine tasks in order to facilitate the smooth running of the IS business support function and manage IT Officer.

The post holder reports to Logistic Manager.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer science or Information Systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in field of IT including Basic Software/Hardware troubleshooting, Windows Operating Systems, Server and Network Management.
  • Ability to solve simple computing hardware problems on their own and provide good support on applications to the users.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and able to organize work effectively whilst being proactive and showing initiative and tenacity.
  • Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines and able to assume more difficult tasks.
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure
  • Ability to solve simple computing hardware problems on their own and provide prompt support on in-house applications to the users.
  • Initiative to take on responsibility and work with minimal supervision in accordance to the guidance from Managers.
  • Basic training skills.
  • Effective communication/facilitation skills, good working knowledge in English.
