Humanitarian Funding Coordinator

Posting: Cox’s Bazar Job Type: Fixed Term, 6 months Initially
 [Only Bangladesh National are eligible to apply]

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are urgently looking for a dynamic team player who will work with the Emergency Response team at Cox’s Bazar.

S/he will be responsible to ensure Oxfam has the management, technical and funding capacity to scale up and to respond rapidly to humanitarian emergencies. S/he also provide strategic management and leadership on project designing process, funding proposal development and funding management for Oxfam’s Rohingya response in Bangladesh.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • An academic qualification of post graduate in related field of study
  • At least 5 years’ experience in leading on/developing strategic thinking on funding;
  • Solid track record of experience of planning for, securing and managing funds from institutional donors, such as DFID, ECHO, DFAT, OFDA, and UN, etc.
  • Ability to represent Oxfam and liaise and coordinate with different funding agencies, potential donors, private sectors, etc.
  • Proven range of experience in quality programme development & management, including proposal writing and grant management, and the ability to lead and facilitate the design and development of funding and program strategies, Theory of Change, Logic Model etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of building the capacity of individuals and teams for resource mobilisation.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High level of numeracy, budgeting, financial reporting and IT skills.
  • Experience of working in highly complex political environments.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of program quality including programme cycle management,
  • Must demonstrate commitment and sensitivity to gender issues.
  • Fluent in English writing and speaking to a professional level.

Benefits: BDT. 17,22,303 (13 months) per annum gross with other benefits as per Oxfam policy e.g PF, Medical, Leave
