Senior Programme Officer

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh, Job Type: 2 Years (Fixed Term)

Salary & Benefits: BDT.  10,56,451 (13 months) per annum gross with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic team player who will be responsible to implement the designed projects/programs in 13 working districts with assistance from Community Volunteers and partners of REE-CALL 2021 under Rural Programme. Provide periodical monitoring and supervision support, progress tracking and management and close support to the partners and report back to line management also to the partners. Develop the knowledge, skill and understanding of staff working with partners on Social Accountability Tools, Governance Performance Monitoring, Public Finance Management, Networking and advocacy/influencing at local and national level.

The post holder reports to Rural Manager

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • Masters in social science with minimum 5 years’ experiences in the relevant development field.
  • Strong understanding about nexus between 7th five-year plan and SDG targets and relevant policies, programs, executing agencies and their roles.
  • In-depth knowledge on Governance Performance Monitoring, Public finance management, Social accountability tools, rights based approach, community development model, clear analysis on social/ economic/ gender power dynamics from community to national level.
  • Experience in partnership management, programme development and programme implementation.
  • Experience of working for/managing partnership with think tanks, policy research institutes, academia, large civil society networks etc.
  • Monitoring and reporting of partner level implementation and budget expenditure tracking
  • Produce quality reporting for internal and external donors.
  • Good communication, facilitation, presentation and representation skills.
  • Strong understanding of gender and diversity issues and experience in integrating these into programme
  • Ability to work under pressure, decision making and multi tasking.
