Senior Program Officer- Urban Resilience

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh, Job Type: 2 Years (Fixed Term)
[Only Bangladeshi national are eligible to apply]

Salary & Benefits: BDT.  10,56,451 (13 months) per annum gross with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic team player who will be responsible to implement the designed projects/programs and managing more than 2 local, national and influencing partners for Urban Resilience projects under Oxfam in Bangladesh Urban Programme. Managing Partnership and linkage with Asian Development Bank (ADB) and local City/Municipal Corporations. Provide periodical monitoring and supervision support, budget tracking and management and close support to the partners and report back to line management also to the partners.

The post holder reports to Urban Manager

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • Masters in any discipline with minimum 5 years experiences.
  • Experience in partnership management, programme development and programme implementation.
  • Monitoring and reporting of partner level implementation and budget expenditure tracking.
  • Produce quality reporting for internal and external donors.
  • In-depth knowledge on Urban Disaster Risk Reduction- UDRR, Climate Change Adaptation, Resilience, right base approach, Urban community development model, clear analysis on social/ economic/ gender power dynamics from community to national level.
  • Good communication, facilitation, presentation and representation skills.
  • Strong understanding of gender and HIV/AIDs issues and experience in integrating these into programme practice. work under pressure, decision making and multi-tasking
