Job Position: Senior Software Architect |
Location: Dhaka
Job Description:
- Deep knowledge of commerce technologies with hands on experience in Magento latest versions along with other essential software acquaintances.
- Design scalable and flexible E-Commerce architectures that include interaction with Customers existing back office
- Work on high-quality architecture and implementation design, collaborating with the customer, system/business analysts and onshore architects
- Gather high-level functional, scope/size projects, provide estimates, including level of effort assessments independent of developers help.
- Lead a large scale digital transformation engagement as an e Commerce Technical SME.
- Proven experience in Product development and implementation with expertise in e-Commerce (B2B, B2C) .
- Should have managed end to end implementation of large ecommerce web application and should have a sense of efforts for large & transformational programs.
- Ensure the product delivery and integrity during the overall product lifecycle.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for ecommerce solutions.
- Provide inputs and direction to senior developers on the team for design and implementation.
- Consult customers on various eCommerce solutions available in echo system like multi-channel selling, warehouse management software, integrations with third party systems/ERPs.
- Show and tell our capability statement to prospects, be part of pre-sales and solution scoping/engineering process.
- Collaborates with rest of the team to identify development/design resources needed, assign individual responsibilities and due dates across Technical, Creative and Content Marketing teams.
- Prior experience in building ecommerce integration practice is desirable.
- Define best practices to implement nonfunctional requirements like performance and scalability of the ecommerce solution.
- Requires working with individuals and teams from development through implementation across organizations.
- At least one E-Commerce Implementation Project (through design-build-test phases).
- Exposure to other major E-Commerce technologies will be a plus (WebSphere Commerce, ATG, etc.).
Educational qualifications:
CSE/EEE will be given preference.
Qualifications:
- At least 4/5 years of the overall experience in software development
- At least 2 years of the production experience as a Technical/Team Leader
- Expertise on Magento, Laravel and other essential eCommerce site development and management skill is a must
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Good modeling, design and documenting skills
- Hands-on in Magento 2.0 architecture, development, possibility to design and develop all logical layers of the solution
- Magento Cloud experience is a must
- Integration with external Payment Processors and understanding of related concepts such as hosted payment pages, direct API integration, and tokenization
- Various integrations with CDN, social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and customer experience analysis solutions (Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice), etc
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Adobe EM, Hybris WCMS, Site Builder
- Extensive experience with PHP 4 / 5 , DHTML , JavaScript , CSS , jQuery
- Understanding of Endeca or SOLR search engines
- Messaging and RESTful services development experience
- Data modeling and extension to support custom business objects
- Extension of commerce sub-systems such as promotions, pricing, inventory, and customer service
