Job title: Manager – Sales & Marketing

Position summary: Describe below the primary purpose and function of the job

Sales & Marketing Manager oversees operational sales and marketing activities to reach agreed turnover and profit objectives within the scope of the mid- and long-term strategy as defined by management, including implementing new ideas and tools for the company.

Key activities:

Plan, negotiate, agree and control the annual sales- and expense budgets in order to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets on his/her responsibility; Understanding the actual situation of each account, considering their strengths and opportunities, in order to maintain clarity about the vision and strategies to be followed with them.

Develop Marketing Plans to achieve log-term strategies; this will need to include New Product Development, Communication Strategy (Trade & Consumer) in order to increase Market Share targets.

Initiate, plan, negotiate and control in- market sales and (trade) marketing activities of the designated responsibility or accounts, including launch of new products in close co-operation with the Marketing Department.

Develop strong and trustworthy relationships with the executives of all levels in his/her customers, in order to assure the growth and development of the business for the short, medium and long terms.

Gather, consolidate, evaluate and report sales data using systems and identify signal and report trends in the market and gather competitor information in order to support overall Omron market intelligence.

Execute, participate in or manage special projects in line with business requirements, on own initiative or on request of Omron Senior Management.

Represent Omron in fairs, congresses and exhibitions in order to increase brand awareness, educate the market and gather market- and competitor information.

Develop his/her customers to its maximum potential through customized business plans implementation in order to achieve and exceed the business expectations related with sales volume, category growth and profitability, always looking for new business ways.

Design, negotiate and maintain control under the investment of the Promotional Fund, analyzing the results of the main activities.

Responsible for maintaining the right alignment between the customer´s listing costs and OMRON invoicing system.

Elaboration and implementation of Joint business plans of his / her key customers

Job requirements and qualifications:  Indicate the minimum and preferred education and experience for the job and any job related physical demands.

Minimum age:   Minimum 40 Years  Managerial Experience:   Min 5 Years
Technical skills
Extensive sales & marketing management experience in an international context
Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Contract Law is advantageous
Knowledge of OTC Sales, the pharmaceutical market and/or a medical environment is advantageous
Have Worked attending distributors as well as retailers such as National or Regional Account
Basic experience on Marketing and Finance as well as financial statements analysis.
Demonstrated skills on high level negotiations at all levels inside the Organization and with customers.
Knowledge of the procurement policies and procedures, Sales, Credit and Collection management of the different commercial associates, as well as channel market strategies
