Job Responsibility:

In this role, based in Dhaka, you will be responsible for handling legal affairs of the company including drafting, advising and negotiating a broad range of general commercial contracts, including sales, subscribers, leases, coordinating corporate issues with the corporate secretary of the Bangladesh subsidiaries, handling expansions, labor issues and litigation together with other general legal affairs. Reporting to the General Counsel based in abroad, working closely with the foreign and local senior management team and contributing as part of an international legal team, you will play a key role within dynamic and expanding companies.

Educational Qualification:

• LLB/ LL.M. from a top tier law school with superior academic credentials (Barrister-at-Law will be given preference)

Job Experience:

• Min 2 yrs. of working experience in a leading law firm with exposure to corporate transactions, or as an in-house attorney in a commercial company

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in Bengali and in English
• Understanding of the key features of relevant laws and regulations in the areas of responsibility
• Ability to conduct accurate, high quality legal research, both computerized and non-computerized
• Energetic and enterprising, willing to work as part of a team
• Able to work and communicate with all levels of management and staff
• Strong computer skills
• Self-motivated individual with initiative, drive and committed to learning
