OLiLA Glass Industries Ltd. is looking for dynamic plant In-charge for their Glassware factory at Sreemangal, Moulovibazar
Position: Plant In-Charge (AGM or senior level)
Job Description / Responsibility:
- To maintain a high level of motivation, satisfaction and build a team that would support ultimate quality & quantity of production.
- To prepare and implement daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly production plan in line with the requirement.
- To ensure that the production plant is operated and maintained within the laid down parameters at high availability, reliability, stability, efficiency ensuring safety of the employees and machines.
- To build in- house capability in the maintenance function and develop multi-skilling/ tasking roles within the factory.
- To align to companies objectives and directions
- Manage the production system in a safe, cost effective, reliable and stable manner.
- Participate in the corporate decision making process as a member of the senior management team with joint responsibility for the development of long term corporate strategies and company policies
- Ensure that sound policies, procedures and internal controls are effectively employed for proper execution of duties, responsibilities and attainment of overall goals and targets
- Advise and represent the company on current views/sensitivities and advise on ways to enhance the relationship between Company and the Government at all levels
- Ensure compliance with the Government Agreement clauses with emphasis on the areas of operations, maintenance of main plant equipment and balance of plant equipment, monitor the raw material reserve, as well as raw material supply, gas supply etc.
- Ensure safety in the plant activities
- Responsible for developing long term maintenance plans as well as preparation of annual budgets
- Provide guidance on issues pertaining to finished goods discipline and meeting demand & supply in coordination
- Responsible to ensure efficiency in raw material and fuel management.
- Work with HR Department on the manpower planning and recruitment process and provide inputs on human resource policies, practices and procedures in line with business strategy
- Any other assignment as assigned by the management from time to time.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Mechanical engineering graduate.
- Strong experience person will be get advantage in terms of educational qualification.
Computer literacy:
- Good knowledge in MS office package, especially in MS Excel.
Experience Requirements:
- 8 and above years’ experience in related field.
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Glassware/ Glass Industry/ Ceramic industry.
