Job Opportunity for Advanced Web Programmer with experience in JavaScript, PHP HTML and CSS.

 

NRECA International Ltd. is an affiliate organization of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), a non-profit organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.  NRECA International has worked internationally since 1962 on developing and implementing rural electrification programs by designing distribution grids, constructing lines, and applying a set of standards that meet very specific community needs with funding supported by the USAID, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, host governments and private clients. NRECA International Ltd has been working in Bangladesh since 1976.

Currently NRECA is looking for suitable personnel to fill the following fulltime position in its Bangladesh office.

MIS Specialist

The MIS Specialist must have experience in advanced Web Programmer with JavaScript, PHP HTML and CSS.

  • Experience in using web framework from one of the following languages (PHP, Python, JS).
  • Deep knowledge of at least one of Meteor.js or any full node.js stack or Laravel or Django frameworks is required.
  • UX/UI design experience using JS, HTML, CSS and Web Components.
  • Experience with Polymer is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of the HTML DOM is required.
  • Experience using GIT Version Control.
  • Experience with web font embedding.
  • Deep knowledge of Regular Expressions.
  • Experience with raw XHR Requests, websocket, web workers and offline web application.
  • Experience with responsive web design including the use of charts and graphs libraries and UI Widgets.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in CSE or related field from reputed university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in developing web based enterprise applications.
  • Good communication skills in English.
