We are looking for Deputy Managing Director to reinforce in achieving bank’s aims:

Job Description:

  • Play pivotal role in the bank as member of Senior Management Team (SMT), Credit Committee and ALCO (Asset Liability Management Committee).
  • Promote and maintenance of strong asset portfolio through prudent risk management and effective monitoring of overdue, SMA and SS accounts.
  • To achieve company’s objectives by researching opportunities and problems; recommending strategies; ensuring positive cash flow in order to meet financial requirements; evaluating and reporting technical, administration and financial performance and results.
  • Business process development & reengineering and proper planning of disaster recovery and crisis management.
  • Maintaining state of the art technology; benchmarking leading-edge practices; exploiting market channels; leading commitment to quality service; evaluating of results on customer services; representing the company to major customers.
  • Ensure cost control activities; monitor revenues and expenditures in assigned area to assure sound financial control; assure effective and efficient use of budgeted funds, materials, facilities and time.
  • Oversee and update of Bank’s credit policy, lending guidelines and other procedures related to credit risk.
  • Overall financial and capital planning and strategy development.
  • Development and roll-out of strategic and business plan model.
  • Strive towards enhancing the scope and reach of the existing product portfolio and increasing revenue.
  • Explore the market possibility for building long term profitable relationship with potential customers as well as broadening the existing customer base to sustain and increase the bank’s profitability and business.
  • Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policies and procedures and gives input into review procedures of Credit Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor the performance of the bank as a whole and with every granular level and update the management team about the performance of the business divisions and overall bank in comparison with the industry and the strategy and planning of our bank.

Educational Requirements

  • Post Graduate from a reputed university with a very good academic background.

Experience Requirements

  • At least twenty (20) years’ banking experience in reputed commercial bank(s) and currently holding the position of SEVP with a unique blend of professional exposure in Corporate and Emerging Corporate/Credit Management along with Foreign Trade/ Operations and core risks management.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Capable of managing and leading large business team to mobilize business, ensure asset quality, maintain productive customer relationship and catering to the growing and diverse needs of the business segments.
  • Proficiency in developing business strategies and their implementation plan to ensure sustainable business and profit growth in line with the business strategies, targets and objectives of the Bank.
  • Should have very good rapport with the leading business community, excellent knowledge of market economy, corporate business/
  • MSME business, regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
  • Good presentation skills and is proficient in writing/compiling quality reports in English.
  • Must have leadership capability to manage and motivate staff.
  • Age maximum 55 (fifty five) years as on March 15, 2018.
