Assistant Sales Manager (Second Line Manager)

Position’s key accountabilities

  • Responsible for meeting sales objective and managing multiple projects.
  • Manage & coach a group of Regional Sales Managers
  • Required proven consultative sales ability and qualitative analytical skills & relevant computer Skills
  • Provide timely feedback to the employee on performance
  • To constantly explore new avenues for the development of business and for the improvement of business operation in the region
  • Be responsive and protectively alert to issue related to competitor activities and facilitate effective and timely corrective actions by responsible persons.

Main accountabilities

  • Setting objective and sales target in collaboration with Head of Sales, Bangladesh
  • Managing RSMs in achieving sales and activity targets
  • Coaching and developing Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representative according to coaching plan and individual development plan
  • Drive Sales Team to implement sales strategies
  • Responsible for coming up with yearly sales plan based on RSMs territory plan
  • Driving company’s marketing plan execution at territory level with sales team members
  • Consolidate in times, reports done by the reps and provide appropriate feedback on report
  • Check KPIs of each RSMs and follow-up regularly
  • A team player with good Management, Interpersonal and communication skills, Highly Motivated & Result-oriented 
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Computer Literate and able to perform sales analysis

Qualifications

Education requirements

  • Bachelor/Masters in Science Background
  •  Master’s in Business Administration is preferred. 

Work experience

  • 8+ Years of sales experience in Pharmaceutical industry in Sales.
  • At least 4-5 years as a people manager  
  • At least 2-3 years as a people manager (Second line manager)
