News Network with the support from European Union is implementing a project to support human rights defenders working for women’s and girls’ rights in Bangladesh.
News Network is a non government organisation of Bangladesh. Its envisions a stable nation, where citizens are aware of their rights, enjoy freedom of expression, live with dignity and enjoy gender equality and where the media is free. It promotes freedom of press and expression, human rights, women rights, freedom of religion, governance and seeks to develop the capacity of media.

Salary: BDT. 40000 and other allowances
Key responsibilities:
- Coordination and implementation of project activities and reporting;
- Liaison with project partner origination;
- Facilitation involving all other relevant stakeholders;
- Keep close contact with the beneficiaries including journalists and CSOs;
- Responsible for regional office management;
- Any other tasks assigned by the head office.
Eligibility of the candidates:
- 5-7 years job experiences in relevant fields
- Masters in Social Science / Equivalent degree
- Good command in Bangle and English languages
- Age: 35- 45 years
- Should able to frequent travel around the project districts
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
