Functional Designation : Area Sales Manager (3 positions)

Job Grade: Assistant Manager

Responsibility Summary:
Plan and execute annual business objectives of the assigned area in line with the regional target and national target. Supervise and monitor team members’ performance and take proper measure to develop team towards achieving stretching target of the company business plan.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting NSM/RSM to develop sales target and strategy for the market that ensure attainment of company’ area target and potentiality thus meeting regional and national objective.
  2. Prepare action plans to ensure effective search of sales lead, prospects and market penetration for the designated area.
  3. Managing, leading, keep motivating the Territory Executives to achieve business target (sales, collection, profitability, customer satisfaction, retention) in assigned area.
  4. Create new channels, manage channel portfolio and periodic channel performance review to guide for maximize revenue maintaining two way profitable relationship with sustainable business growth.
  5. Review dealers, trade patrons/ retailers’ current stock and to make sure that to maintain Stock Coverage Ratio (SCR) and counter folio reports on regular basis.
  6. To analyze and monitor customer feedback database to measure success and identify sales fluctuations/trends so as to decide on the relevant actions to be taken.
  7. Develop KPI with team members and monitor individual performance and provide timely feedback to senior management including individual development in-put.

Education: Post Graduate (Preferably MBA)

Experience: 6-8 Years (1 year in the similar position)

Additional Requirement:

  1. Capable to understand competitor’s strategies in the assigned Area regarding dealer management, trading policy and consumer communication.
  2. Needs to be proactive and aggressive in nature besides being a good team player.
  3. Good negotiation and communication skills.
